All the collection types available in Owlect and what each one is for.
Collection types
When you create a new collection, you pick a type. Each type comes with special fields that make sense for that kind of collection. Here are all the types you can choose:
Dolls
For doll collections — Barbie, Monster High, Rainbow High, and more. You can pick a brand from a list or type your own.
Board Games
For board game collections. Owlect can connect to BoardGameGeek to find game details like number of players and play time automatically.
Vinyl Records
For music lovers who collect vinyl. Connect your Discogs account to import your whole record collection at once.
Coins
For coin collectors. Owlect can search the Numista database to find coin details.
Pokemon Cards
For Pokemon card collectors. Search by card name and Owlect finds the set, rarity, and card image.
Retro Games
For classic video game collections. Search by game name to find platform, genre, and year.
LEGO
For LEGO set collectors. Search by set name or number to find details and piece counts.
Comic Books
For comic book collections. Search to find series, issue number, and cover images.

Smart search
12 out of 16 collection types have **smart search** — when you add an item, just start typing the name and Owlect will suggest matches from online databases. It fills in details and even finds cover images for you!
